MEET RACHEL
PERSONAL LIFE
The beginning of my dream career started in my home state of Maryland where I attended cosmetology school. In 2012, I moved to Florida, with little planning, the day after finishing hair school.
My move to Florida turned out to be a great choice! I started my career and met my wonderful husband, Allen. We had an intimate wedding ceremony in 2017 and shortly after our son, Gabriel, was born in 2018. They are the light of my life and the inspiration behind everything I do. One of the things I hope to provide for my family is the ability to travel and see the world together.
When I’m not in the salon, you can find me at home with my family. I absolutely love interior design and I spend a lot of time reimagining spaces in our home. I also recently started a garden, which I find so therapeutic as it gives me an outlet to focus my energy. In the off chance we aren’t enjoying our home, you can find us cruising the Lake County chain of lakes on our pontoon. Give me a day at home alone and I'll fill it listening to a true crime podcast while I build a new Lego set.
I love starting my day with a good workout and a grape Celsius. I get my exercise in before work to energize myself and get my creative juices flowing. I enjoy bringing that energy into the salon so that I can provide you with the best experience and consistent results.
CAREER
My first job in the beauty industry was assisting in a busy salon of talented stylists. While there I learned a lot about the art of hair color and the business of beauty.
In 2016, I made the decision to take more control over my career and become an independent stylist at one of Orlando's top salons.
In 2020, I took that independence a step further and opened my own private salon studio, an intimate and relaxed space where I can focus my energy solely on my guests.
Becoming a Bellami Pro Extension Master Stylist and earning my Invisible Bead Extensions certification has enabled me to create life changing hair transformations for women.
Passion doesn’t come naturally, it’s something you have to work for. I am constantly finding inspiration to fuel my passion by taking classes. Education builds my confidence and improves my skill, allowing me to better serve my guests. I am currently pursuing Master status with IBE and learning how to serve women with hair loss with Microlines hair pieces.
Taking care of you and your hair is my top priority during your visit, along with ensuring you have an incredible salon experience.
